NICOLAE Avram: Notations concerning some provisions of the environmental law (EL). Sustainability - a necessary attribute of materials, products and industrial, management and standardization activities

According to the data available in the juridical literature, some notions concerning the regulation and regulation methods are presented. The eco-materials, eco-products and eco-technologies are defined based on these norms. There are justified the reasons for which today the prefix “eco” is out of date. It is demonstrated why nowadays these notions must comply with the norms imposed by the desideratum (attribute) “sustainable”.

Năstase Constantin: Investigations regarding the transient and unidimensional motion of gases through porous environment

In the practice of gas distribution, through a porous environment, considered as homogenous, the transient and unidimensional motion is frequently met. In time, the ratio between filtering velocity for transient and stationary motion is growing up near to 1.

GHIMBĂŞEANU Ioan: Calculation method of a numerical regulator for controlling a Endo-typed controlled atmosphere in a carburization process

The paper describes several research studies on the identification and the control of ENDO-typed controlled atmosphere in a carburization process. Combining the calculation methods of the regulators and the identification  techniques of the process models, a rigurous procedure as well as a calculation performance will be obtained. The calculation and the adjustment of different types of regulators require a sound knowledge of the discret parametric model of the process to adjust.

Ana - Luciana Rus: Superplasticity of copper alloys

Superplastic behaviour has been reported for a range   of   α/β   copper   alloys   including  brasses,

aluminium bronzes and nickel-silvers, and also for the single phase copper dispersion alloy, Coronze (CDA-638). The paper briefly reviews the copper alloys, the superplastic properties of these and the methods for grain refinement.

Amalia Ana DASCĂL, MAKSAY Ştefan, Camelia PINCA-BRETOTEAN, HEPUŢ Teodor: Numerical research on the optimalization of the chemical composition for OLT 35K steel with a view to obtaining superior mechanical features at high temperature

Metalurgia (57) 2005, nr. 6, p. 30

The paper presents the results of the research made under laboratory experimental testing, on OLT 35K steel, intended to the manufacturing of tubes, used at high temperature in the make-up of thermal-energetic installation.

Mechanical driving testing has been made at the temperature of 450°C, on shares of test-bars drawn out of a number of 50 charges, with a view to achieving the optimalization of the chemical composition of this steel type. The optimalization, under experimental dates, suggests alternatives of combinations among the main elements of the chemical composition, so as the steel can be elaborated with superior mechanical features at high temperature.

The obtained results have a large feasibility area, and can be also endorsed for other steel types and mechanical features for which the optimalization is viewed, therefore being very useful to technologists, in the process of achieving a certain type of steel.

Nussbaum Adrian-Iacob, Carmen Hărău, Raţiu Sorin, Ilca Ioan: Analysis of some influences upon the force’s parameters and the quality of the rolled steels

The research aimed at finding solutions for the ferrite dissolution in the structural matrix of steel and the improvement in deformability.

    The results allowed the optimisation of the technology by reducing the heating-up duration, and by dissoluting and globulising the ferrite.
